If your special vote was approved
Special voting is for voters whose applications were approved. Station-based special voters must use the station where they are registered.
Approved home-visit voters should remain available at the address supplied in their application on 2 and 3 November. Contact the IEC if you are uncertain about your arrangement.
The special-vote application period has closed. This website does not accept applications or confirm an individual voter’s approval.
Confirm your own arrangements with the IEC
For special-vote status, the IEC advises sending your ID number by SMS to 32711 (R1 per SMS). Send it directly through the official IEC channel.
For your registered voting station, use the official IEC website ↗, WhatsApp Hi to 060 088 0000 ↗, or call the IEC on 0800 11 8000.
Bring your smart ID card, green barcoded ID book or valid temporary identity certificate.
