Reading candidate information
Is this page a ballot paper?
This is a plain-language guide to ballot types. Official specimen ballot papers are provided through the IEC.
Is a candidate list the same as the ballot layout?
A candidate list records nominations. The official specimen ballot shows the ballot layout and order. Check the matching IEC document for the correct election and contest.
Why check the date of a candidate source?
Candidate information can change after an initial publication. The IEC’s September 2026 certification notice was followed by later court-directed changes. Consult current official information before relying on an earlier snapshot.
