CANDIDATE RECORDS

16 September 2026 snapshot.

Electoral Commission of South Africa, source of record; The People’s Register, republisher. Reused under CC BY 4.0.

Scoped to Knysna, Tshwane and Nelson Mandela Bay; field names and IDs normalized for search. Published source nomination order, names, parties and positions retained.

Source nomination order is retained in the data. Any alphabetical display is not verified election-day ballot order.

Nomination rows are not distinct people: one person can have separate ward and PR nominations. The source names and positions are preserved. This is not an official specimen ballot.

STATION RECORDS

Published names, codes and addresses.

Derived from the IEC national station list and The People’s Register’s compiled station snapshot. The source publication date is not supplied; the source was retrieved on 20 October 2026. Reuse of the compiled records on UPPA was authorised by The People’s Register’s controller.

The reused station search data does not contain venue coordinates. Ward boundary geometry does not verify a station pin.

WARD BOUNDARIES

MDB Wards 2026.

The Municipal Demarcation Board is the producer and custodian of the boundary data. The on-site map retains the official geometry, converted by the official service to GeoJSON longitude/latitude. Field names are normalised for this application; no boundaries are redrawn.

Official MDB item and reuse conditions

MDB’s terms allow attributed research, publications and value-added applications. This application does not sell the dataset or present changed boundary data as MDB’s original.

COVERAGE AND LOCAL DATA
